View from Ramallah reaction

Sir: Regarding the ‘View from Ramallah’ your the last issue (May 2002).
I am an Israeli architect and one of the AR readers.
I was surprised to find out again that the Architectural Review is not just another professional magazine, but a political representative of the anti-Israeli campaign.
The ‘View from Ramallah’ that uses the justification to be in your magazine due to the fact that his writer is an architect (only god know how the fact that is also a Jewish is related to here), had nothing to do with architecture or any related aspects. It doesn’t concentrate in Ramallah and its unique environment (which has been changed radically during this on- going conflict), but on the 'immoral' activities of Israel  - Interesting, the name Israel as a state is never mentioned, does it really exists?
This approach of ignoring Israel and most Israeli architecture is not new for the AR. It’s started at the special issue about the Middle East in 1998, which ignored the existence of any Israeli architecture, while describing future projects in Palestine (is this is a new way to deal with the existence of Israel).
Then, I assumed it happened accidentally (ignoring the existence of any Israeli architecture in an issue which described new architecture in the Middle East).
Now I understand, it doesn’t happen just like that, it’s a matter of clear propaganda.
Sorry, this is not a professional magazine!!!!!
Yours etc
