CORB IN FIRMINY SIR: As a non architect but an ARCHITECTURAL JUNKIE,, I have just read with enthusiasm the article by Michael Webb on the Corb church at Firminy (A R March)..... we made a 'pilgrimage' there last week & were bowled over ..... reading the professional viewpoint now adds to our enthusiasm & joy at having seen yet another masterpiece. Altho' it does not have the spiritual impact of Ronchamp, being on a 'Corb site' brings his work together for the 'untrained'. Villa Savoie & its excellent restoration plus a viewing at Pessac near Bordeaux on the same trip have been an incredibly enriching experience Yours etc Moira Mears
