PERMANENT COLLECTION
The Museum of Foreign Art has built its collection around a bequest made by Paul and Fanny Sinebrychoff in 1921. Aside from a copious selection of old foreign art, the Sinebrychoff bequest included a collection of silver, porcelain and furniture. On permanent display are paintings by Dutch, Flemish, Italian and French artists from the 14th to the 19th century, Swedish portraits, Russian and Karelian icons, and an extensive collection of Scandinavian miniatures.
