Steelcase - B Free Lounge
Responding to the growing importance of ‘informal’ areas to the modern office, Steelcase recently introduced B Free Lounge, the first family of furniture to transform traditional office ‘dead’ zones including corridors, receptions, lobbies, cafeterias, breakout areas and hallways into spaces that support chance interactions and encourage creative and strategic decision making. The collection comprises seven simple, geometric, autonomous elements, with different dimensions and height options, designed to piece together like a landscape and encourage myriad combinations. B Free Lounge recognises that work is a social activity by creating work zones which help foster communication, collaboration and learning and supporting impromptu meetings which speed up flow of information.
