Front & Back apartment, Paris by h2o Architects

living space
h2o architects have transformed a clutterred parisian apartment into a flexible living space for an advertising executive and comic strip collector .sculpted walls

view
The exisiting apartment, 60m split between 6 rooms, had a confusing geometry and compartmentalised layout which was unpleasant and cramped to live in. The new design creates an open living space in which cupboards, crevices, desks and storage are set into the wall thickness which appear as sculpted shapes.

The sculpted shapes vary in size and colours to adapt to multiple functions in different locations. They can harbour either the vast collection of comic strips or a bar, a bathroom, a closet, and so on.

Tres Bon, Love this apartment!

This layout, use of colour, space & design would slot perfectly into my working day.

I also have a tonne of books i am not willing to part with so the shelf space is a must.

love it
